As everyone with Instagram and Twitter knows, this past week was California's infamous annual music and arts festival Coachella. While popstar Justin Bieber wasn’t performing in this year’s lineup, he was attending a Coachella party where TMZ reported that he attacked a belligerent man for choking a woman.

According to TMZ, here’s exactly what went down"

"Justin was talking to some people when a guy walked in, spotted a woman...and went ballistic. Sources at the party say he appeared to be on drugs—and it looked as if the woman may have been his ex-GF."

When Justin and his friend starting screaming at the man to let her go, the assailant refused to release his grip on the woman, screaming back, "Go f#ck yourself."

The "Sorry" singer then proceeded to punch the man in the face and threw him up against the wall.

TMZ has since reported that the Biebs will not be facing any criminal charges. No one is reporting that Bieber attacked the man and the initial assailant isn’t pressing charges. Alas, since the police were responding to Bieber punching the man, as opposed to the man choking the woman, the initial guy was not arrested. Police are considering the case closed.
