International Women's Day: Why Women Count - Video

March 8 is International Women’s Day — so how do you celebrate this event other than burning an effigy of Rush Limbaugh? Well, there are certainly tons of festivities to attend, but if you’re like most women, you have to work to support yourself. So, if you can sneak away from work, check out one of these great, inspiring videos.

Uploaded on IWD, the "Why Women Count" five-minute video checks in on a group of women living together in Barcelona, who scavenge through dumpsters to feed and clothe themselves. They operate as a little family, don’t need men to provide for them, and seem quite happy with their situation. Go, girls.

The second video made for International Women's Day aims to provide viewers with a look at several interesting facts and statistics about the changes and developments that have impacted women in the workforce. Some of the statistics are surprising!
