Earlier this month, out queer woman Emet surprised her girlfriend, Jessica Baverman, with a proposal while the two were on a trip to Israel. Overlooking the city of Jerusalem, Emet recited a stanza from Shira's Songs of Solomon, before popping the question to a stunned and, judging by her reaction, overjoyed Jessica.
