It looks as though Meredith Baxter, who starred in TV classics such as Family Ties and Family, might be planning for an upcoming wedding with girlfriend Nancy Locke, according to Daily Mail.
Baxter came out as a lesbian in 2009 during an interview with the Advocate as well as with The Today Show. She and Locke began dating a few years earlier. The beloved TV mom was married to men three times before realizing she was a lesbian.
In her memoir Untied, Baxter wrote this about her realization: "I felt alive in a way that I had not experienced. Life was rife with possibilities."
The couple reportedly obtained a marriage license on Friday in Beverly Hills and invitations have already been sent out. Baxter's rep declined to comment to MailOnline.
As we have no idea of how a proposal between Baxter and Locke actually went down, we are just going to defer to this scene from Baxter's appearance on Glee opposite Patty Duke.
