Rimes praises country artists who've come out recently for their bravery.

Country star LeAnn Rimes recently spoke openly with GLAAD’s Claire Pires about supporting LGBT people, including country artists Ty Herndon and Billy Gillman, who both came out just this past month.

Regarding country music’s support of LGBT people Rimes said, “I hope that we’re moving forward and not back.” She went on to say, “People should be able to love who they love. It’s as simple as that.”
