A rare artist whose purity in voice and style can pretty much make people weep, Tracy Chapman is just as affecting today as she was when her debut album dropped in April, 1988. Here she performs Ben E. King's classic "Stand By Me" on David Letterman's show, and it's incredibly moving in its simplicity. Watch her work her magic below.
