KFC's New CGI Colonel Is Kinda Creepy (But Also Kinda Hot??)

The fried chicken chain's new computer-generated mascot is incredibly lifelike—and uncomfortably good-looking.

Gird your loins, girls and gays. Long-running fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken just introduced fans to the newest iteration of their iconic mascot Colonel Sanders, and now he's a hip, handsome, computer-generated social media influencer. (Yes, you unfortunatey read all of that correctly. Welcome to internet culture in 2019.)

While it is indeed very, very, very creepy how life-like he looks, I'd be totally lying to you all if I didn't also admit that the new, young Colonel Sanders is...kinda...actually...totally...hot.

(Whew. In the words of Helga Pataki, my girlhood is trembling.)

Luckily, I'm not the only person who thinks a CGI fried chicken chef is sexy.

According to Eater, KFC is officially calling their latest cheeky spokesperon "Virtual Influencer Colonel," and he will be taking over the brand's social channels from now until April 22.

Hopefully we'll be seeing more and more of Virtual Influencer Colonel (and his tattooed abs) in the coming weeks!
