It's been a long time coming, but according to major news outlets, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is finally set to announce a formal inquiry about the possibility of impeaching President Donald Trump.

According to The Advocate, Pelosi is expected to make the announcement from her office this afternoon, with more than two-thirds of House Democrats having already called for 45's impeachment in recent months.

After decades of hard-fought battles to include more queer characters on television, the Federal Communications Commission is toying with the idea of adding warning labels to all TV shows with LGBTQ+ content, but the general public is not on board.
In response to an FCC Public Notice considering the addition of a new “warning label” on family shows that include LGBTQ+ characters, stories, or themes, GLAAD conducted an analysis of the public comments that were filed and discovered that 80% rejected the proposed warning labels.

Many of the hundreds touched by the then-deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history at Pulse, a gay Orlando nightclub, where an extremist gunman killed 49 people and left 58 others injured ten years ago Friday, still seek solace. Even survivors who left the Florida venue uninjured suffered emotional anguish and guilt, while loved ones of those who didn’t make it navigated immeasurable loss.
“There’s no handbook on how to survive after surviving,” says Christopher Hansen, who crawled his way out of the crime scene to help others. It was his first visit to the club since he was new in town.

The Trump administration is considering restoring specialized suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ youth through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline nearly a year after shutting them down, according to a newly disclosed federal letter sent to a bipartisan group of lawmakers.
In a Tuesday correspondence obtained by The Advocate, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration said on behalf of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that it is evaluating how to restore the 988 Lifeline's specialized services for LGBTQ+ youth, commonly known as the "Press 3" option, following Congress's direction in fiscal year 2026 funding legislation. The letter was addressed to Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, an Illinois Democrat, and copied to Reps. Sharice Davids of Kansas, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, and Seth Moulton of Massachusetts. Rep. Michael Lawler, a New York Republican, was also copied on the letter.
