Supermodel Janice Dickinson was temporarily removed from the Costa Rican set of
NBC's sumer reality TV show
I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! this past weekend for undisclosed reasons, according to
Perez.
The 54-year-old former model was rushed via ambulance to a San Jose, Costa Rica Hospital with a medical emergency. Dickinson is not the first cast member to make a trip to the emergency room.
The Hills star, Heidi Montag was recently hospitalized and treated for a gastric ulcer prior to her and hubby Spencer Pratt leaving the show for good.
Janice Dickinson had apparently been complaining of a chest infection, hunger and bronchitis.
According to the
LA Times, Dickinson has already been released from the medical facility and is now back on the set reunited with the rest of her cast mates.
"She is not in the hospital," a source told the paper. "It's fair to say she was taken by ambulance this weekend from camp to an on-site medical facility for treatment for an undisclosed condition."
Meanwhile, back in the jungle, much of Monday's show was spent by the
celebrities gossiping about the outspoken 70s supermodel for whom they obviously have a certain love-hate relationship with.
Dickinson's rep said the beauty only has feelings of love for her reality TV peers.
"Janice loves her fellow cast mates," commented her rep. "And is having a jolly old time in the jungle."
