Despite Page Six reports that they fought through New Year's Eve, Lindsay Lohan and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson are supposedly setting up lesbian house in Dubai and reportedly laying down a cool $2.18 million for a home, WENN reported.
According to Britain's The Daily Mirror Lohan and Ronson became enamored with the Palm Island resort in Dubai when Ronson spun at the nearby Atlantis Hotel last year.
"Lindsay and Sam loved the tacky glitziness of Dubai. There is so much money and opulence out there it really impressed Lindsay - she can be quite materialistic like that," a source told the Mirror. "And with the property market over there probably the only place where there still seems to be a boom, she thinks it will be a wise investment."
One plus to setting up a home in Dubai is that it's not overrun with paparazzi, a selling point for the couple "although that's sure to change once Lindsay and Sam become regulars on the scene," the source told the Mirror.
