Ricky Martin's Gay Confession Was A Lie

Last week The Puerto Rican magazine TVAqui twittered as an exclusive breaking news item that  international pop star Ricky Martin had at last confessed to the magazine that his "heart could belong to a man or a woman."
Yet in a recent turn of events, as the highly anticipated, alleged "Ricky Martin Coming Issue" hit the newsstands, the whole world got to discover it was all fabrication, according to The Advocate.

Apparently the Puerto Rican magazine pulled more than a publicity stunt and lied by leaking on its Twitter page false information about Ricky Martin's suggested homosexual confession as part of a pathetic marketing attempt to secure sales of the magazine.
.
When interviewed by Mike Szysmanski, a reporter from Examiner.com, Saudy Rivera, TV Aqui's editor, confirmed that the Latin Heartthrob never actually discussed his rumored bi-sexuality.

"I went directly to Saudy [Rivera, the editor of TV Aqui], who is based in Puerto Rico, and asked if Ricky used the B-word. 'No, he didn't say that,' she replied to me. 'What he said was: 'The heart of Ricky Martin... if it belongs to a male or a female... I have never talked about it,'" said Mike Szysmanski.

Obviously the cover tease was just that: a tease!

When Andrés Duque of Blabbeando translated the video of the actual interview with Martin, this is what the singer was quoted saying:
"Eh, the heart of Ricky Martin? Look, whether it has or doesn't have a male owner or a female owner, I have never spoken about that topic, so don't..."
