There was a suspicious package found at the north-west gate of the White House, Wednesday.

The mysterious package was found just after 2 p.m. EST. Unconfirmed reports say the package was tossed over the fence, apparently by a protester. Secret Service officials have not confirmed that however, according to BNO News.

The U.S. Secret Service, Metropolitan Police Department and the Washington D.C. Fire Department were all at the scene. The north-west gate access is restricted until the package is cleared, although there have not been any evacuation orders made.

At the time of the BNO News post, there were unconfirmed reports the package was already cleared.
