Kathy Griffin is known for being outspoken. However, when she took to Twitter to post a gory video depicting Donald Trump’s severed head, the internet revolted, Twitter blew-up, and right-wingers and left-wingers alike took aim. The tweets have since been removed but you can view the video and photographs which TMZ broke earlier in the day here.
Kathy, whom is seen lifting a bloody-faced mannequin head of President Trump, promptly tweeted a video apology reassuring her fans that she would never incite violence and asking for forgiveness.
However, the Internet was STILL not having it - including her employer CNN, who has since terminated her from her New Year's Eve hosting duties with Anderson Cooper. Check out some reactions below including Chelsea Clinton, Mitt Romney, and Debra Messing whom have all rallied against the imagery of violence.
