Coming out can be the best thing you could ever do but it could also be the worst. Be realistic with yourself. Do you have a supportive family? Are they accepting of the LGBT community? You know your family better than anybody. You need to be emotionally prepared and have a plan. Have a place to go, in case it doesn't go the way you hoped. You're not alone.
