Not only are Norway’s athletes killing it at the Sochi Olympic Games (as of yesterday the country was in the lead with seven medals), but XXL, a Norwegian outerwear company, wins for an incredibly hot, lesbian-themed commercial that premiered during the Sochi Olympics’ opening ceremonies, an obvious counter to Russia’s Gay Propaganda law.
The commercial follows a sexy woman through an airport as male athletes from a myriad of sports including soccer, hockey, and skiing posture and preen for her, but she could care less. You can draw your own conclusions as to why, or you can watch the pretty terrific commercial below.
Here’s what XXL had to say on YouTube about the commercial:
“Our new commercial "Airport Love" was created for the sports and wilderness interested public in Norway, Sweden and Finland. The film's message is that sport is for everyone, no matter what team you play for. The premiere of the film at the same time as the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi.”
