Maybelline announced beauty vlogger Manny Gutierrez as its first-ever male ambassador.
Remember when CoverGirl signed budding makeup artist James Charles as its first CoverBoy? Apparently, their pioneering efforts to embrace genderfluidity started a trend in the cosmetic industry, and Maybelline has followed suit. The makeup brand announced beauty vlogger Manny Gutierrez as its first-ever male ambassador.
With more than two million subs on YouTube and three million followers on Instagram, Gutierrez is already a heavy hitter in the beauty world. He stars in Maybelline's "That Boss Life" campaign alongside fellow Insta-famous beauty blogger Shayla Mitchell (aka @makeupshayla). Together, they're promoting Big Shot Mascara.
Gutierrez took to Instagram to express his enthusiasm, "So excited to finally announce that I am part of the Maybelline #BigShotMascara campaign!" He continued, "Honestly, I couldn't be more honored thrilled! Thank you to Maybelline for taking a chance on me! I look forward to working together so much more."
