Who Thought It Was a Good Idea to Have White People Model Black Girl Magic Shirts?
Zazzle, the online store where you can buy tank tops that let everyone know you're a "wild child" and remind them to "rosé the day away" has come under fire for selling multiple items of clothing that proclaim the beauty of black womanhood on white models. From "Black Girl Magic" to "Melanin & Mascara" white women (and even men) are modeling the $18.95 proclamations on the site.
YouTuber and black beauty activist Jackie Aina caught the blunder, tweeting:

The responses were a mix of shocked and amused.

In response to the outrage, Zazzle told Yahoo Style:
"Each designer is shown a series of pre-posed randomized model shots upon which their design is placed. It’s always possible that gender, race, and other attributes of the model do not match up to the specifics of the design, given the ratio of our millions of designs to the 100 or so t-shirt styles we offer. At Zazzle, we’re committed to diversity and are working on increasing the diversity of the pre-posed model shots and the t-shirt range itself."
