Why is it so many people don’t know anything about trans people? I mean, have you asked your parents or grandparents about what they know about trans folks? Their reactions are hilarious and disturbing. When it comes to gender and sex, transgender people are “breaking the rules." The out-moded rule of thought is that since the gender binary’s survival depends on everyone’s obedience, those who break the rules are a threat.
