'Whiskers R We' is easily one of Saturday Night Live's best sketch series, and this week's  sketch was one of the strongest editions. Kate McKinnon returns as Barbara DeDrew, the owner of 'Whiskers R We,' an apparently struggling cat rescue she runs with a series of lovers. Usually, these sketches are comprised of two elements; the increasingly bizarre descriptions of her cat charges, and her intense disinterest in any of her partners. However, this week guest star Kristen Wiig broke the mold. Not only are these unique kittens some of Whiskers R We's greatest treasures, but this week Barbara also seems to genuinely love her girlfriend for the first time. Even better, the two MVPs of SNL can barely keep it together as they try to sell these gaslighting, Jill Stein-voting, ghost cats. Watch here: 

We're not at all sure how a feature-length plot would work here, but if ever a Saturday Night Live sketch was to get a movie soon, we're pulling for Barbara and Furonica. We'd happily take one of their kittens they'd snuck in our car!
