Univision Sets Premiere for First Telenovela With Gay Lead Characters

It looks like El corazón nunca se equivoca, the history-making, gay-centered telenovela, will be making its debut in the U.S. very, very soon!

Univision will be premiering the series, which garnered a huge fandom became of its featured gay couple Aristemo (that's Aristóteles and Temo), this week, making it "the first primetime telenovela to feature a gay couple as its leading characters," reports Remezcla

Aristóteles (played by Emilio Osorio) and Temo (Joaquín Bondoni) originally appeared on another telenovela called Mi marido tiene familia, but the characters got their own spin-off due to their popularity amongst viewers.

El corazón nunca se equivoca premieres on August 13 at 9pm on Univision! Watch the official teaser trailer in the video below!
