Besides providing us with some of the most hilarious, memorable, and queer AF television moments over the past five years, Schitt's Creek is also leaving a charitable impact on the world. Launched earlier today, the Pop TV favorite has started an official GoFundMe page to help raise money for organizations (like Food Banks Canada and Feeding America) that are helping provide food for the needy during the current, ongoing global health crisis

As an incentive for people to donate, the cast of the comedy series (including Dan Levy himself) will be going live on their personal Instagram accounts on a daily basis to entertain and engage with fans as well as to raise awareness for their fundraising efforts.

"During this unprecedented crisis, so many are focused on family, health, and security, while many of our neighbors are worrying about their family's meals, the official description of the GoFundMe reads. "The cast of Schitt's Creek wants to help show our neighbors the same kind of generosity and goodwill that our fans have shown us over the last six years. So over the next week, we're hoping to spread some joy while raising as much as possible for two organizations that have long been dedicated to helping those in need: Food Banks Canada and Feeding America."

"As the demand for food increases, food donations have decreased and volunteer shortages have increased costs. Food banks are under more pressure to ensure the vulnerable are still receiving vital food support. The only way to get through this is together."
