"Do what you think is right, but you must protect yourself because nobody else will.”

Janelle Monáe takes the helm from Julia Roberts to lead the second season of Amazon Prime's Golden Globe Award-winning series Homecoming.

A mystery is afoot. According to the official show description, Monáe's character "wakes up in a rowboat adrift a lake, with no memory of how she got there—or even who she is. Her ensuing search for identity will lead her into the heart of the Geist Group, the unconventional wellness company behind the Homecoming Initiative."

We don't know too much else about this season besides the ominous, "Do what you think is right, but you must protect yourself because nobody else will" voiceover in the trailer, but we did spot Monáe's character kissing a woman, so you already know we can't wait to see how this turns out!

Homecoming premieres May 22 on Amazon Prime. Watch the teaser below.
