WATCH: Adorable Lesbian High School Sweethearts Get New Jersey Marriage License After 40 Years

This week New Jersey became the 14th state with full marriage equality, changing lives for many of its residents. This week, Cindy Meneghin and Maureen Kilian, high school sweethearts and Lambda Legal plaintiffs who’ve been together for 40 years, finally received a marriage license from the clerk in their hometown of Butler, NJ.

Lambda Legal plaintiffs Cindy Meneghin and Maureen Kilian -- high school sweethearts who’ve been together for 40 years -- finally received a marriage license from the clerk in their hometown of Butler, NJ.
