Edie Windsor is pretty much our person of the year, so this makes sense!
The woman at the center of a legal fight to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act, widow Edith Windsor, is being honored as a finalist for Time magazine's "Person of the Year."
The list of 10 well known names reflects who Time's editors say were most influential on the news this year. And the winner will be named later this week. Last year's Person of the Year, for example, was President Obama.
Windsor has been included in a number of honors for the year, including on the cover of Outmagazine for its annual OUT100 list. Check out that cover below.
