As a kid I'd watch those romance movies with the typical guy and girl scenario ... And it never fit well with me, for obvious reasons. With the changing laws and attitude towards LGBT people around the world,  (like full marriage equality in the UK that went into effect last week), we are starting to see some beautiful marriage proposals. Here are our top three from around the web.

It's always nice to see stereotypes being broken! In this proposal, the more femme woman in the relationship proposes to the more butch woman. And, it's after a special Macklemore performance!
