The second segment of Marriage Equality USA’s interview with Edie Windsor focuses on Edie’s life as an affluent working woman, how women could be arrested for imitating a man, and early stories with Windsor’s late wife, Thea.
“I was WILD about her from the first time I met her,” Windsor said, when asked about how her relationship was with Thea. “We danced together the first night we met,” she said, which would be a theme for them at every party they saw each other at—even if they brought other dates with them.
