We Are The Tigers is a new pop/rock cheerleader murder mystery musical you should know and love (especially with this discount code!)

The new musical We Are The Tigers is now playing in Los Angeles, and we have an inside look and special price code for Shewired readers! The world premiere original musical - a dark comedy about friendships, rivalries, and secrets on a high school cheerleading team - was recently featured on The Advocate's list of "7 Things That Are Everything This Week" for its "fresh, often hilarious, and sometimes moving tale of trying to survive high school." Oh, and did we mention it's also a murder mystery?

From left to right, Gabi Hankins (Reese), Cailan Rose (Kate), Cait Fairbanks (Chess), Jade Johnson (Cairo), Callandra Olivia (Riley), and Charlotte Mary Wen (Mattie)

And if you need another reason to cheer for We Are The Tigers, the original musical was written and composed by a lesbian playwright (our very own Rebekah Allen), covers queer themes, and features a cast of strong, dynamic female characters. That's a winner in our book! And you can hear a song from the show right now:

Check out some photos from the production, and use the code CHEER17 at checkout for $17 dollar tickets! Tickets are available at plays411.net/tigers.
