Carol has stolen our hearts. The film, based on Patricia Highsmith's 1952 lesbian novel and starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara as two women from very different backgrounds who have an affair, was released in select cities last weekend and immediately greeted with critical acclaim. The film won't see a wide release until closer to Christmas, so for now here's a small and lovely look at what's in store for those who haven't seen the film yet, or a wonderful chance to re-experience Carol perfection for those who have.
