Jessica Jones isn't going anywhere. The moment the first season was released on Netflix last November, we all fell in love with the super-troubled super-P.I. and could barely step away from our TVs. Now, Entertainment Weekly has reported Netflix's confirmation during the Television Critics Association’s Sunday press tour sessions that Jessica Jones will be returning for 13 more episodes under showrunner Melissa Rosenberg. Though the show was a massive success, there was some uncertainty over Jessica Jones getting a second season in the forseeable future, since her series is part of a mutli-superhero plan that ultimately sets up The Defenders. Sure, there's no release date yet for Jessica's sophmore venture, but we're thrilled to know there's simply one on the way. Marvel's Daredevil has already been renewed for a second season, and Luke Cage and Iron Fist will also be getting their own series as well in conjuction with The Defenders mash-up. Comicbookmovie.com has more deets on that here, if you're hoping to keep up with the perhaps endless Marvel/Netflix superhero awesomeness.
If you haven't caught Jessica Jones yet, check out all our reasons why you need to make it a part of your life. We'll be waiting eargerly for Jessica's return, and in the meantime binging season one over and over again.
