Mirroring her iconic 1997 role as porn star Roller Girl in Boogie Nights Heather Graham plays a former porn star turned fetish film director obsessed with a female porn star in the upcoming indie Cherry, and the trailer for it is just out (thanks to AfterEllen for the heads-up).

Director Stephen Elliot’s debut feature Cherry focuses on an 18-year-old girl who moves to San Francisco and becomes caught up in the world of fetish porn. Abercrombie and Fitch model Ashley Hinshaw stars as the protagonist Angelina, while 1990’s indie darling, who famously starred as Valerie Solanas in I Shot Andy Warhol, Lili Taylor, plays her alcoholic mom.

The gritty film, which promises to delve into the underbelly of the porn industry, also stars James Franco and Dev Patel.
