She may not be starring in blockbusters at the moment, but Lindsay Lohan puts in a pretty great performance in a new music video.
In the clip for rock band Miggs, a blond Lohan is a model/actress by day, but late at night, in cat burglar black hooded clothes, she’s a graffiti artist commenting on social injustice with a few sidekick babes.
It's a pretty interesting metaphor for the actress whose personal struggles with family and substance abuse have eclipsed her once notable talent.
The band’s lead singer, Don Miggs, told the NY Daily News they we’re looking for a star with “duality in their life” for the video.
"She hasn't beaten her kids or cheated on her husband," Miggs said. "She isn't Tiger Woods or Mel Gibson. She hasn't done things that have hurt other people."
Lohan is reportedly a fan of the bands music and was excited to begin filming the video following the completion of her house arrest sentence.
"She was focused and serious and wasn't there to earn a paycheck," Miggs says. "She was there to do something. Everybody deserves the benefit of the doubt and everyone has a second act in them. Today is a new day. This is an etch and sketch. Let's get rid of preconceived notions and see what's up."
