Billie Piper Plays Bisexual in BBC's New 'Love Life'

Attention ladies who enjoyed Piper’s sexy starring role on 'The Secret Diaries of A Call Girl,' she plays a teacher who falls for her female student in this new series.

The Brit babe beloved as Doctor Who’s companion will reunite with actor David Tennant in a new drama series about love.

Written by Dominic Savage, the series will follow 5 overlapping relationship stories and employ a combination of scripted and improvised scenes.

But the most exciting bit of news for ladies who enjoyed Piper’s exposed, sexy starring role on The Secret Diaries of A Call Girl, is that she will play a teacher who falls for her female student.

"I am looking to create something special that has a modern view on the age old mystery of love," Savage told The Mirror. "Something that expresses the reality of love and puts it on the screen. I am looking to explore these themes in the seaside town of Margate, with a group of incredibly talented actors who are ready to journey with me on this."

And BBC's controller of drama commissioning Ben Stephenson pointed out, "This is a complete first in TV drama on BBC One - a serial made through improvisation. It features some of our very best acting talent working in a way we've never seen on screen from them before, using improvisation to push the boundaries of each story, to get right to the heart of the truth."

AfterEllen noted, Piper “has kissed women on screen many times before, on Call Girl and in the film Things to Do Before You're 30" (below).

Hmmm… We bet the third time playing queer/bi-curious will be a charm for the lovely Piper.
