For those of you who missed the premiere of Showtime’s new series House of Lies on Sunday, keep reading!
The dark comedy starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell has much to offer lesbian viewers. Despite focusing mainly on Marty Kahn (Cheadle), there is still plenty of LGBT content between Marty’s gender variant kid Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.) and a conservative mogul’s wife realizing she really just loves ladies.
In the pilot episode, there is a very L Word-esque restroom romp between Rachel Norbert (Anna Camp of The Good Wife and True Blood) and April (Megalyn Echikunwoke) after Rachel announces that a week into her marriage, she woke up and realized she “really [likes] girls in a way that isn’t part time.”
And, lesbian sexy time in the bathroom aside, the rest of the show is definitely worth checking out. Check out the whole (censored) pilot below, and be sure to catch future episodes on Showtime Sundays at 10/9c, or on Showtime’s website.
