Slip Away, a short film by writer, producer and Alma Award winning actress Michelle C. Bonilla, is coming to DVD February 1, 2012.
The DVD will also include a special ‘Behind the Scenes Photo Gallery’ of the making of Slip Away, as well as an optional commentary on the photos from Bonilla, and the official trailer.
Inspired by true events, Slip Away tells the gripping story of love, addiction, self-discovery and what is lost and gained in its wake. T.M. Scorzafava directs the film with an outstanding cast that includes Lauren Birriel, Michelle Bonilla (ER, Saving Grace), Thea Gill (Queer as Folk), Hal Sparks (Lab Rats, Queer as Folk), April Grace (I Am Legend, Magnolia) and Wilson Cruz (He’s Just Not That Into You).
Slip Away is the winner of Mexico International Film Festival’s 2011 Bronze Palm Award and Fort Worth Gay and Lesbian Film Festival’s 2011 Best Dramatic Short.
