Shot of the Day: Eddie and Patsy Carry Olympic Torch Through London

Shot of the Day: Eddie and Patsy Carry Olympic Torch Through London

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Olympics kick off Friday and who better to feature as our shot of the day than Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley carrying the real Olympic torch as their Absolutely Fabulous characters Eddie and Patsy.

There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our favorite shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because…

As some of  you may have heard if you’re not face down in a pub somewhere that the London Olympics kick off Friday and who better to feature as our shot of the day than Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley carrying the real Olympic torch as their Absolutely Fabulous characters Eddie and Patsy. After all, everything I know about London life I learned on Ab Fab, like how to mix Boli and Stoli, how to fall face first out of a car every time, how to smoke a cigarette in an isolation tank and how to accuse one's own daughter of being a mustached virgin.

Saunders and Lumley carried the torch through the Kensington and Chelsea areas of London to screaming throngs of fans. The Absolutely Fabulous Olympics special aired Wednesday on Logo.

Here are Eds and Pats in all of their Olympics glory. Cheers sweetie-darlings!
