Rihanna's latest tattoo is a tribute to her grandmother — GranGran Dolly, the singer tweeted — who died in July. But while the image of Egyptian goddess Isis, the ideal wife and mother, seems fitting, RiRi's placement is a little odd.
Rihanna's tattoo is featured prominently… across the skin just below her breasts. Never mind the fact that the goddess is going to be hidden in a few years when RiRi's ta-tas submit to the falling passage of time, but it also seems a bizarre, hidden locale to place a memorial tattoo.
Rihanna's grandmother, Ciara "Dolly" Brathwaite, lost her battle with cancer in July. The pop star tweeted several photos of herself and her grandmother that month.
