Crooner k.d. Lang is officially is a single lady now that her domestic partnership with Jamie Price was legally dissolved last week, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Lang and Price met in 2003 at an event held by a Buddhist teacher, according to an interview with Curve.

Multi-Grammy winner, Lang, a native of Canada, made headlines when she came out of the closet in 1992. Her pioneering coming out was celebrated just this year as Glee’s lesbian character Santana (Naya Rivera) sang Lang’s mega-hit “Constant Craving” in her coming out episode. 

An ardent Buddhist, Price, according to Times Quotidian, was a founding member and executive director of Ari Bhod, whose mission it is “to preserve and transmit the priceless legacy of the ancient Tibetan Nyingma lineage tradition.”

Lang and Price became domestic partners in California and made their home together in the Los Angeles hills. 

Both women have waived partner support and will divide their property evenly, according to papers obtained by TMZ.
