Lip Service, the BBC show about a group of lesbians in Glasgow was officially cancelled by the network after only two seasons, according to Entertainmentwise.

The drama, starring Laura Fraser, Ruta Gedmintas, Fiona Button and Heather Peace premiered in 2010 on BBC Three to high ratings, but quickly lost steam after numerous casting changes and a move from its normal time slot on Tuesday nights.

"Sadly BBC Three has confirmed there won't be a 3rd series of Lip Service," Executive Producer Harriet Braun said. "A huge, huge thank you to all the fans for all your support xx."

No reason was given for the cancellation.

Here's a scene from Lip Service's better days.
