Glee’s Jane Lynch has signed on to host NBC’s new hour long game show Hollywood Game Night, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show, produced by Sean Hayes’ (Will and Grace) Hazy Mills Production, Mission Control Media, and Universal Television, will feature A-list celebrities playing along with noncelebrity contestants in a cocktail party atmosphere. By the end of each show, one of two contestants will walk away with an unspecified cash prize.
Rumor has it that big names from the worlds of TV, film, sports and politics are set to participate.
"I'm so thrilled to let the world in on the fun with Sean at Game Night. The format is sure to provide a lot of unexpected results that will keep everyone off-balance and entertained,” Lynch said.
NBC picked up 8 episodes, but there is currently no premiere date on the schedule.
