Showtime's Emmy-winning medical drama Nurse Jackie returns for a fifth season Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. Our titular heroine, a nurse at New York City's All Saints Hospital, is clean and sober this time around, but that doesn't mean her life is any less dramatic. Jackie (played by Edie Falco) is freshly divorced, and dealing with a new ER chief who's a former army medic with his own way of doing things.
There's no word yet on storylines involving bisexual doctor (and Jackie's BFF) Eleanor O'Hara, but we're sure to see more of the new mom as the season progresses. Even without lesbian showrunners Linda Wallam and Liz Brixius on board, we'll tune in to see what comes next for Nurse Jackie.
