America voted adorable, self-confessed nerd Michelle Chamuel through on The Voice last week, ensuring that LGBTs had a representative in the top 10.

Last night, for the top 10 performance show she offered up a visceral rendition of P!nk’s current mega-hit “Just Give Me a Reason.” On an evening with stellar performances from about 90 percent of The Voice contestants the coaches praised Chamuel as a standout (not to mention, and I’m not proud of it, her performance made me tear up for the second time this season). Her Coach Usher called it the performance of the night.

Since Chamuel turned chairs during the blind auditions the Ann-Arbor based lead singer of Ella Riot has belted out stirring renditions of “I Kissed a Girl,” “Raise Your Glass,” “Titanium,” “True Colors,” and “Call Your Girlfriend.”

Watch Chamuel’s “Just Give Me a Reason.”
