The third wave of Teen Choice Award nominees is out and some of our favorite shows and celebrities have made the cut!
ABC Family's breakout hit Pretty Little Liars – costarring Shay Mitchell as our favorite small town lesbian character Emily Fields--was nominated in several categories including for Choice Summer TV Show, TV Villain (Janel Parrish), Summer Male TV Star (Keegan Allen), and Summer Female TV Star (Lucy Hale).
Another ABC Family juggernaut to make the list of nominees is the Jennifer Lopez produced new drama The Fosters, about lesbian moms (Teri Polo and Sherri Saum) raising a biological son, adopted twins and two foster kids. The series garnered two noms -- one for Choice Summer TV Show and one for Summer Female TV Star (Maia Mitchell).
Meanwhile, last year's feature film Pitch Perfect, which features a lesbian character, is nominated eight times, including noms for Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin and Adam DeVine.
In music, outspoken LGBT ally P!nk is nominated for Summer Female Music Star and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are up as a group. Macklemore & Lewis released their fourth single, "Same Love," last year in support of marriage equality.
The Teen Choice Awards will air Sunday, August 11, at 8 P.M. EST on Fox. A full list of the nominees is on the official website.
