WATCH: First Look for Veronica Mars Movie!

Our favorite modern-day Nancy Drew is making her long awaited return next year on the big screen. First shown at San Diego ComicCon last weekend, the Veronica Mars movie sneak peek brings back all of our favorite characters, including Kristen Bell as the detective herself, Jason Dohring as Logan Echolls, Ryan Hansen as Dick Casablancas, and Enrico Colantoni as Keith Mars.

Veronica Mars aired for three seasons from 2004 to 2007. Creator Rob Thomas wrote a feature film after the show’s cancellation, but Warner Bros. opted out of the project. This March, Thomas and Bell launched a campaign for the movie through Kickstarter, which offers incentives for donating to a project. The Kickstarter campaign reached its goal of $2 million in less than 10 hours. The Veronica Mars movie broke multiple Kickstarter records and ended the campaign a month later with over 91,000 donors raising over $5.7 million dollars.
