Katy Perry, Tegan & Sara, Sara Bareilles Fundraise for Breast Cancer at the Hollywood Bowl

It's going to be a big celebration at the Hollywood Bowl this Wednesday!

The ladies are going to be out in full force tomorrow night when Katy Perry and popular female musicians Sara Bareilles, Ellie Goulding, Tegan & Sara, and Kacey Musgraves take over the Hollywood Bowl for a special concert benefiting the Young Survival Coalition on October 23.

Perry, who helped select the lineup for the special event, told 97.1 AMP’s Carson Daly last month that, “These are all very powerful women that I really respect and look up to and I wanted them to come together to promote this supportive message and have a fantastic night full of great music.”

Proceeds from “We Can Survive” will go to support the Young Survival Coalition, who’s global organization is dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women diagnosed with breast cancer. October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the annual campaign to bring attention to, and share information on the disease.

The sold-out concert presented by Citi and 97.1 mark the release of Perry’s much anticipated new album “Prism,” who’s single “Roar” currently ranks 3rd on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

SheWired will be Tweeting live from the event, so stay tuned!
