A new documentary, From the Back of the Room, focuses on women’s contributions to the DIY punk music scene.
Pitchfork.com reports the film, produced, directed, shot, and co-edited by Amy Oden, is currently screening at festivals and features interview footage with influential acts Bikini Kill, Kylesa, Bratmobile, Tribe 8, Naked Aggression, Blatz, Le Tigre, and more.
