Her breakout song “I Kissed a Girl” was controversial on the lesbian scene when it debuted two summers ago, yet it still mangaged to become a staple at every lesbian club I attended. Not to mention that Katy Perry also headlined The Dinah - the biggest lesbian event/party anywhere. Let's face it, the girl sings some catchy tunes. I doubt “California Gurls” will bring the same level of drama, but judge for yourself. Honestly, I can't wait for all the parody videos with fabulous drag queens really heating things up in Candyland.
