'Glee' Cast Knocks the National Anthem Out of the Park

The typically divergent worlds of jocks and glee club nerds collided in fabulous synchronicity Saturday when Amber Riley who plays Mercedes Jones on Fox's runaway hit Glee, belted the National Anthem to the back row of the stadium for game 3 of the World Series in Philadelphia. Riley, backed by Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Dianna Argon, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling and Kevin McHale, blew the proverbial doors off of Citizens Bank Park for the third game of the Yankees and Phillies face-off.

The show, which costars out lesbian Jane Lynch as cheerleading Coach Sue Sylvester, seemingly cannot be stopped. But if you haven't caught it yet, see for yourself. It's guaranteed to give any bona fide showqueen goose bumps!
