Featured inside the special “Ladies We Love” issue, Morris, known once only for “Brittany's signature non sequiturs ("Did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?"), delivered by the acting newbie with the aplomb of Bill Murray,” has since blossomed into a complex and beloved character.
Morris says things really took a turn for Brittany after the Britney Spears special episode. "That episode was a game-changer," Morris says. "People didn’t just think about Brittany. People wanted to know who I was."
Morris also shared both she and costar Naya Rivera hope to fully explore the relationship of "Brittana," as the sexually experimental Cheerio duo has been dubbed. "We just shot a scene yesterday that I’m excited for the fans to see. People don’t want their relationship to be a joke. They want it to be real. It had an impact on people," Morris surmises.
