The CW's hit drama "90210" is getting hotter than ever as the chemistry between Ade (Jessica Lowndes) and Gia (Rumer Willis) promises to reach its peak this season.
Although their attraction to one another seems a little random and farfetched, their common bonds (sobriety, pop culture and sweets) are enough to keep the viewers (and the characters themselves) wanting more.
Will Gia and Ade take it to the next level? We're not sure, but the 90210 is finally a little more interesting. With its first full-fledged lesbian love affair taking to the airwaves, ratings for the show are sure to soar.
Explaining the storyline to People, Lowndes said:
"Adrianna and Gia share a special bond. My character starts questioning whether or not sexuality is measured on a spectrum, if it's black and white or if it comes down to who you connect with and who you are compatible with. I'm excited as an actress to tell the story."
Lowndes and Willis are no strangers to the industry. Lowndes made her theatrical debut in the horror film "The Haunting of Molly Hartley" and is set to star in the new thriller "Altitude." Willis, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis served as Miss Golden Globe in 2008 and most recently has starred in "The House Bunny" with Anna Faris and the horror thriller "Sorority Row."
"90210" returns with new episodes on March 9 (8PM EST/PST) on The CW. Check it out!
