Since she became many a sci-fi lesbian’s icon playing Lt. Kara Thrace Starbuck on Battlestar Gallactica, Katee Sackhoff is one sought after actress. And now she’s headed to CSI for a possibly recurring role, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Arguably the best part of the messy Bionic Woman remake and fresh off a killer turn on 24, Sackhoff will play “Detective Reed, a smart, tough, and feisty investigator with an acknowledged lack of sensitivity,” according to EW.
The buff blond actress, who also turned in a terrifically dark arc on Nip / Tuck a few seasons back, is also for a guest spot on The Big Bang Theory this season.
Sackhoff’s CSI run will kick off during November sweeps.
It’s safe to say you can never have too much Sackhoff –- not yet anyway.
